Abstract
This paper presents a global comparative analysis of evidence-based parenting interventions and judicial frameworks across seven jurisdictions: Sweden, Germany, Singapore, Australia, Iceland, Canada, and Ireland. Drawing on developmental psychology theories — specifically Diana Baumrind's parenting styles typology and John Bowlby's attachment theory — the study examines how legislative reforms, tiered clinical interventions, and community-wide initiatives collectively shift parenting practices toward an authoritative, warm, and structured approach.
The analysis identifies five distinct program architectures: universal public health portals, tiered behavioral frameworks, marginalized preventative frameworks, community-wide structural interventions, and systemic communicative programs. Each model is evaluated in terms of its theoretical coherence, governance structure, scope of services, and demonstrated effectiveness in promoting positive developmental outcomes.
Findings indicate that the most effective national systems integrate legal protections for children, accessible public information, and targeted behavioral support to promote secure parent-child attachments. These integrated approaches simultaneously address legislative, informational, and clinical dimensions of parenting support, offering a comprehensive framework for policymakers seeking to strengthen family outcomes across diverse socioeconomic and cultural contexts.
